Automotive and Aerospace

Shot blasting is used on engine components, turbine blades, drive shafts and structural parts to clean and even out surfaces, achieving different surface finishes.

Biomedical

In the medical industry, shot blasting is used on prostheses, dental implants, surgical instruments and titanium or stainless steel components to achieve satin-finished surfaces.

Metalworking and fabrication

Sandblasting and shot blasting are used in metalworking to clean and finish steel, stainless steel, and aluminium removing oxidation and residues.

Additive manufacturing

Design and furniture

From handles and taps to metal accessories, shot blasting creates uniform, high-quality aesthetic finishes, with smooth and consistent satin surfaces.

Additive manufacturing

Machining

Sandblasting and shot blasting are used on moulds and mechanical components to remove burrs and residues, improving the final surface finish.

Additive manufacturing

Prototyping and 3D printing

Shot blasting is widely used in Additive Manufacturing on sintered components to effectively remove residual powder and achieve a uniform surface finish.

Additive manufacturing

Classic car and motorcycle restoration

On engine components, mechanical parts, wheels and frames, sandblasting removes rust, paint and oxidation for restoration.
